Earl's Court Area Parking Changes

Overview

This consultation seeks views on the proposal to, on days during which an event is being held at the site of the former Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre that the Council deem would adversely affect residents’ ability to park in nearby streets:

1. to extend the hours of operation of the residents’ parking places in Eardley Crescent, Earl’s Court Square and Kempsford Gardens to include the hours between 6.30pm and 10pm on Saturdays and between 8.30am and 10pm on Sundays. This would mean that the hours of operation of those parking places on those days would be between 8.30am and 10pm and;
2. to provide that visitors to residents of Eardley Crescent, Earl’s Court Square and Kempsford Gardens whose vehicle details have been registered with the Council for the purpose of parking in the residents’ parking places in those roads, would be permitted to park in those residents’ parking places between 6.30pm and 10pm on Saturdays and between 8.30am and 10pm on Sunday.

Anyone wishing to support or object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council to trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk quoting reference “Earl’s Court extended event hours” by 19th October 2022. All objections and comments will be reported to the Director of Transport and Regulatory Services and the Director will consult with the Lead Member for Planning, Place and the Environment before deciding on whether or not to proceed with the proposed change. We will advise you of the decision after the consultation is over and the decision has been taken by the Director.
