Help Shape Our Plan for the Local Economy
Overview
We want to hear your views on what is important to you about Kensington and Chelsea’s local economy, and how businesses, residents, workers and visitors come together to create opportunities for a good life.
The economy is more than just about money. It's about the everyday things that help a place work well for the people who live, work, study, and spend time there. That can include everything from where you buy your food, how you renovate your home, where you eat out and how you spend your leisure time, as well as finding decent jobs, acquiring new skills, starting or growing a business or accessing services.
Creating a vibrant and inclusive economy is a key outcome from our Council Plan. We are now developing our Economy Plan to support this, and want your views on how we can deliver:
- A stronger local economy and high streets
- A thriving business community that contributes to local prosperity
- Access to employment and practical learning
- Growth that benefits all residents
- Accessible and inclusive town centres
Why your views matter
We recognise the importance of building an economy that works for everyone, and responds to the needs of residents, businesses, workers and visitors. Whilst the economy can seem like an abstract concept, it is an essential component of how our borough and its communities live and thrive. The survey seeks your input on the key economic challenges and opportunities facing the borough, and what you would like our economy to look like in 2030.
This is your chance to shape the future of employment, training and business growth support, all with the aim of creating opportunities for a good life for all.
If you need this survey in an alternative format, assistance or more information email us at economy@rbkc.gov.uk
