Have your say in the public vote

Vote for your top community projects

Last year, we asked North Kensington community organisers to submit ideas for projects that would help support the community-led recovery. As part of the Grenfell Recovery Strategy, North Kensington residents can now vote for those shortlisted community projects that matter most to you.

This latest Grenfell Projects Fund, which has £600k to allocate to successful projects, has been designed with the North Kensington Residents’ Panel. It focuses on bringing the North Kensington community together, community-based cultural enrichment and caring for our most vulnerable.

How to review the shortlisted projects and vote:

  1. Review the projects: Available here on this website or visit local Council buildings and libraries to see the shortlisted projects.
  2. Cast your vote: Choose your favourite projects on this website or visit one of the voting stations in the borough.
  3. Make a difference: Your vote will help prioritise funding and support for the projects that will benefit the community the most.

Allocating the funds

Results of the public vote are expected in early April 2025. Projects will be funded in order of most votes to least, with each receiving their full requested amount until the £600,000 fund has run out. This approach aims to make the process of allocating funding transparent and ensure that successful projects get the full funding they requested.

Once all the funds have been allocated, officers will present details of the successful projects to the senior leadership team for approval.

Why your views matter

  • Support local initiatives: Help bring to life the ideas and projects that will support the community.
