Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy - Bidding Round
Overview
Funding is available through the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL). New developments pay a levy in the borough to support local infrastructure. A proportion of this funding is set aside as Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy, to be spent on infrastructure that is important to the local community.
Applications are open now for six weeks until 7 May 2025 to fund your next community project. Projects should focus on improving physical infrastructure which benefits your local community, supporting the Council’s ambitions for a greener, safer and fairer borough. Whether your community is looking to fund a community gardening project, improve a local community facility, or introduce some extra CCTV or traffic calming measures – there are plenty of options.
How to apply
More than 200 projects have received funding since 2021, from cycle hangers to traffic calming measures, new CCTV to gardening and greening projects. This is your opportunity to apply for funding for a local community project. The application can be made online, by email or by post. Further details on what is needed for your application are provided in the application form and the assessment criteria.
