We asked
North Kensington Library wanted to create a programme of events for the local community. To do that, they asked residents for their input into the type of arts and cultural events and activities they would like to see and which they had missed during the COVID-19 period.
You said
A total of 25 people responded to the exercise. The most missed activities were concerts and art exhibitions with 20 respondents selecting each of them.
The activities selected as the most enjoyable from the list provided were art exhibitions (16) and social gatherings (eating out, tea / dance parties, picnics) (15).
A list of cultural events were provided for respondents to select which they would like to see more of in the community. The activity the greatest number of respondents selected was a pop up cinema (20) followed by local history events such as walks and talks (19).
We did
The preferences seen in this survey, combined with conversations had with users in the library have helped inform a calendar of activities in the library aimed as all audiences.
