School Streets Experimental Traffic Order - Seven schools

For your views on school streets experimental traffic orders for seven schools.

• We had no objections and 23 supporting the scheme outside Holy Trinity C of E Primary School
• We had no objections and 27 supporting the scheme outside Knightsbridge School
• We had two objections to the scheme outside Bevington Primary School
• We had three objections and six supporting the scheme outside Vicente Cañada Blanch
• We had one objection and four supporting the scheme outside Wetherby Kensington School
• We had 13 objections and 10 supporting the scheme outside Chelsea Academy (as of 12 August 2021)
• We has two objections and 21 supporting the scheme outside Hill House School (as of 12 August 2021)

• We have made the schemes outside Holy Trinity C of E Primary School and Knightsbridge School permanent
• School Street enforcement currently relies on school staff to identify volunteers to steward the road barriers that enforce the School Street closures at Bevington Primary School, Vicente Cañada Blanch and Wetherby Kensington School. The schools have told officers that they will no longer be willing or able to steward the barriers once the new school term begins on 1 September 2021. Therefore we have revoked the experimental order and the trial will come to an end on 1 September 2021.
• We will begin on 1 September 2021 a new experimental order with different times for Chelsea Academy. The 13 objections and 10 supporting the scheme will be carried forward to the new experimental scheme and will be considered before deciding whether to make the scheme permanent.
