We did
Following consideration of all comments received, the Director of Highways and Regulatory Services has decided to proceed to detailed design and implementation of the proposed raised central reservation on Silchester Road.

Overview
Kensington and Chelsea Council is striving to become a Greener, Safer and Fairer borough. As part of improvements to Cycleway 27 and in response to concerns from Kensington Aldridge Academy over near-miss collisions, the Council is proposing to introduce a new central reservation where Silchester Road meets Lancaster Road.
The proposals involve introducing a raised median strip either side of the existing zebra crossing to encourage vehicles to remain within the carriageway lane and reduce speeds on the bend.
The approximate position of the median strip can be seen in the plan below.

The Council's Director for Highways and Regulatory Services will consider all the comments received, in consultation with Notting Dale ward councillors and the Lead Member for Environment and Planning before deciding on whether to proceed.
