Draft Thames Conservation Area Management Plan
Overview
The Draft Thames Conservation Area Management Plan sets out policies and procedures for managing, monitoring, and enforcing change in the Thames Conservation Area. Its purpose is to preserve the area's significance while identifying opportunities for enhancement. This document supplements the Thames Conservation Area Appraisal which was adopted in February 2020.
Why your views matter
The Council recognises that the way change is managed within the Thames Conservation Area can have a significant impact on its special character or appearance. Therefore, we want to consult our residents, local groups and other stakeholders to ensure that the management plan reflects shared priorities and strikes the right balance between preservation and appropriate change.
We will consider all comments received before deciding whether to amend or adopt the final Conservation Area Management Plan.
