Overview
This consultation seeks views on the proposal to prohibit vehicles making a "U" turn in Walton Place. The prohibition on making U-turns in Walton Place is required to prevent the obstruction and danger caused by vehicles overcoming the existing banned right turn from Hans Road into Basil Street by entering Walton Place and making a U-turn before entering Basil Street.

Anyone wishing to object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council to trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk quoting reference “Walton Place U-turn ban” by 9 November 2022. All objections and comments will be reported to the Director of Transport and Regulatory Services and the Director will consult with the Lead Member for Planning, Place and the Environment before deciding on whether or not to proceed with the proposed change. We will advise you of the decision after the consultation is over and the decision has been taken by the Director.
