Maintaining and Investing in Residents’ Homes: Draft Housing Asset Management Strategy 2025-2030
Overview
The Council is updating its strategy for the maintenance and improvement of residents’ homes over the next five years, with an update to the Housing Asset Management Strategy.
This draft Strategy has been co-designed with residents and builds on previous work shaped by the lessons from Grenfell, evolving legislation and regulation, and changing resident expectations. It aims to ensure all Council homes are safe, well-maintained, and energy-efficient, while strengthening trust and transparency with our residents. What are the priorities?
These five key areas for investment have been shaped with residents:
- Safe homes
- Warm, dry and well-maintained homes
- Reliable mechanical and electrical services
- Energy efficient and sustainable homes
- Greener, safer and welcoming estates
We are now asking for your views to help ensure the Strategy reflects your needs and priorities.
