Working and sharing with others

In June 2011 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea announced its proposed plans for integrated services with Westminster City Council and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The Councils have agreed to look at areas where joint working would be effective. This will be on a three borough basis across some services, involving all three Councils and on a two borough basis for others, working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and one of the other Councils.

To enable the Councils to work effectively and maintain a high standard of services, some personal information will be shared across the Councils. Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, and Hammersmith and Fulham will handle personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This information will continue to only be used for the purpose indicated when it was initially collected and only shared and accessed by those staff within the specific services. It will be held in a secure manner and will not be used for any other purpose without your permission.

For further information on the integrated working plans please see the Tri-borough implementation plans. For information on how this may affect you please contact departments directly.
