We asked for views on the proposal to prohibit all buses (including coaches) from entering Oakley Street or Old Church Street (between the south-eastern kerb-line of King’s Road and the north-western kerb-line of Chelsea Embankment), excluding any part of those roads that is a red route side road. An exemption will apply to vehicles following a diversion route.

Anyone wishing to support or object to this proposal or make any other representations in respect of it, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council to trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk quoting reference “Bus & Coach ban” by 18 October 2023. The Director for Transport and Regulatory Services will consider all the comments received, in consultation with the relevant Ward Councillors and the Lead Member for Planning, Place and Environment, before deciding on whether to proceed.  We will advise you of the decision after the consultation is over and the decision has been taken by the Director.
