Draft Kensington High Street Local Action Plan

Overview

The Kensington High Street Business Improvement District (BID), Opportunity Kensington, is developing a range of projects and longer-term aspirations to enhance the high street. We have been working with the BID to create an action plan so that local people can have their say and help shape the delivery of projects and the future of the high street.

The projects will contribute to making Kensington High Street more lively, welcoming and enjoyable.

It is important to note that not all the actions within this plan are funded. Many of the project ideas are not yet funded, but your feedback will help shape a future vision and identify priorities for the area. The action plan will continue to evolve based on what works and what we hear from the community.

Please review the draft local action plan for Kensington High Street and then complete the consultation feedback form below to help shape the future of Kensington High Street.

You have until 13 September 2026 to have your say.

If you need help completing this survey or require it in an alternative format (e.g. paper copy or in another language), please contact the Growth and Delivery Team by email at GrowthAndDeliveryTeam@rbkc.gov.uk or call 020 7361 3012.

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help to refine the draft local action plan and help the Council and Opportunity Kensington shape and prioritise the projects.

We will share results from this consultation and how the feedback was considered in late 2026.

The action plan will continue to evolve based on what works and what we hear from our diverse community.
