Tenancy Agreement proposed changes
Overview
All landlords, whether they be councils or housing associations periodically review their tenancy conditions to guarantee they remain relevant and effective in ensuring residents can enjoy their homes in peace and security.
Based on feedback over amendments proposed to your tenancy agreement in March 2021, the Housing Management Services have just undertaken such a review, proposing a small number of changes to your tenancy conditions.
The main changes proposed are aimed to:
- clarify the rules on subletting
- strengthen our stance against antisocial behaviour
- detail your responsibilities in keeping noise to acceptable level

Why your views matter
Please be assured that the proposed changes would not affect your security or rights as a tenant and only negatively impact those causing a nuisance. Your views are important and help us make an informed decision about any changes we may make. If you have any queries, require a paper copy or require assistance in other languages, please contact HM-NeighbourhoodResidentServices@rbkc.gov.uk.
If you need any help or support to have your say, we’re holding a series of drop in sessions where you can come and talk through any concerns you may have. Please see the sessions listed at the bottom of this page.
