    This winter the Council will be undertaking some improvements to Redcliffe Square Gardens to improve the perimeter planting, replacing current park benches with more accessible ones with arms and improving grass areas of the park particularly under trees.     An experimental order has converted 14 metres of ‘at any time’ waiting restriction outside no. 31 Basil Street to a residents’ parking place (hours of operation: Mondays to Fridays 8.30am to 10pm, Saturdays 8.30am to 6.30pm and Sundays 1pm to 5pm). The Sunday restrictions can be extended to 8.30am to 6.30pm on a ‘special occasion’ as defined by the Council. This order is enforceable for a maximum of 18 months . More

    The open space at Dovehouse Green will be improved this year with hard and soft landscaping improvements such as new planting, paving repairs, street furniture improvements and new interpretation boards. The land is owned by the church and was laid out by the Chelsea Society in 1977 so the fundamental design won’t change.
